Received her higher doctorate from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In 1998–2011 Bachowska worked with the Polish Radio Choir in Kraków. She conducted the Sinfonietta Cracovia Orchestra in 2014 and the Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra twice, in 2014 and 2015. Since 2012 she has been responsible for the Lusławice Talent Orchestra at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice. Recipient of the Bronze Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture (2017) and the Honoris Gratia pin in Recognition for Services to Kraków (2018).
