Orfeo & Majnun

The band continues the dance music tradition of the Kielce region in its authentic and non-stylised form. Their repertoire and instruments refer to the best standards – traditional bands formerly playing on weddings and barn dances in the area of Łagów and Opatów: the Witkowski brothers’ band from Orłowiny, Cracovians from Zbelutka, Antoni Witkowski from Cisów and many others.

Tęgie Chłopy have released two albums so far: Dansing (Muzyka Odnaleziona, 2015) and Wesele! (Wodzirej, 2017). Members of the band:
