Cancellation of the Orfeo & Majnun opera 

Following the recommendations issued by the Crisis Team working with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland, including the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Kraków Festival Office regrets to announce the cancellation of the performance Orfeo & Majnun, scheduled to be held on 20 March 2020 at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre.

The Crisis Team working with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland, including the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, has announced that all public institutions including philharmonics, opera houses, theatres, museums, schools, universities and art colleges will be temporarily closed between 12 and 25 March 25. This it to halt the spread of the coronavirus (12 / COVID-19).

As a cultural institution of the City of Kraków, the Kraków Festival Office regrets to announce that all events planned between 12 and 25 March have been cancelled. This includes the opera Orfeo & Majnun. See below for information on ticket refunds.

TICKETS BOOKED ONLINE ON EVENTIM.PL OR WWW.BIUROFESTIWALOWE.PL/BILETY

If you booked your tickets on Eventim.pl, you will receive an email explaining how to get a refund.

TICKETS BOOKED IN PERSON AT EVENTIM SALES POINTS

You can only obtain a refund at the same sales point where you made your original booking.

TICKETS BOOKED AT INFOKRAKÓW POINTS

Please note that you will be able to obtain a refund at any InfoKraków Tourist Information Point; however, certain sites remain closed for the time being following the official recommendations.

Given the current situation, refunds will be issued within six months of the scheduled date of the event. This period may be extended in the future.
